pečieme: škoricové osie hniezda / baking: cinnamon wasp nests

Mám také obdobia, keď dostanem na niečo chuť a nemôžem na to prestať myslieť, kým si to aj neuvarím/neupečiem. Tento istý prípad bol aktuálne so škoricovými osími hniezdami. Mala som na ne chuť už od minulého štvrtka a plánovala som ich cez víkend upiecť. Avšak pár vecí mi do toho prišlo a tak som sa k pečeniu dostala až v pondelok. Trochu som sa bála piecť z kysnutého cesta doobeda, aby som to pred prácou stihla, ale neľutujem a myslím, že sa vydarili perfektne. Dostala som na ne viacero komplimentov a hlavným (pre mňa najväčším) komplimentom bolo, keď som videla ľudí neustále sa vracať k dóze pre ďalšie a ďalšie ;)
It sometimes happen to me that I would like to eat something I haven't eaten for a while and I cannot stop thinking about it untill I cook/bake it. The same case was actually with cinnamon wasp nests. I started thinking about those last Thursday and I planned to bake those during weekend. However, I promised to participate on several events, so I had time just on Monday. I was bit affraid to bake yeast dough in the morning before work, but I don't regret and I think wasp nest ended up very well. I received several compliments and the main (and also biggest for me) compliment was when I saw people returning to the dose for more and more ;)

Škoricové osie hniezda / Cinnamon wasp nests

Cesto:
1/2 kg hladkej múky špeciál
1/2 droždia
3 dl mlieka
1/4 masla
2 PL cukru
1 vajce
štipka soli

Dough:
1/2 kg special-purpose flour
1/2 yeast
3 dl milk
1/4 butter
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg
pinch of salt

Plnka:
mletá škorica
maslo
cukor

Filling:
ground cinnamon
butter
sugar

Z asi 1/2 dl vlažného mlieka, droždia a 1 ČL cukru som nechala vykysnúť kvások. Do misky som dala múku, vajce, roztopené maslo, cukor a štipku soli. 
I had to rise yeast from about 1/2 dl lukewarm milk, yeast and 1 tsp sugar. I put the flour, egg, melted butter, sugar and a pinch of salt in a bowl. 

Pridala som kvások a postupne mlieko, kým bolo cesto dostatočne husté. Nechala som kysnúť zakryté v miske na kysnutie, kým cesto nezdvojnásobilo svoj objem (v tieto horúce dni to trvalo cca 1/2 hodiny). Cesto som rozdelila na 4 a jednotlivé kusy som rozvaľkala na pomúčenej doske.
I added yeast and milk gradually until dough was thick enough. I let the dough rise covered in a rising bowl until the dough was twice as big as at the beginning (it took about 1/2 hour in these hot days). I divided the dough into 4 pieces and I rolled each of those with a rolling pin on a floured board. 


Zo škorice, cukru a roztopeného masla som urobila plnku, ktorou som potrela cesto.
I made a filling from cinnamon, sugar and melted butter and I covered the dough with it.

Cesto som zarolovala a roládu nakrájala na asi 1,5-2 cm kolieska, ktoré som naukladala na plech na papier na pečenie. 
I rolled the filled dough and cut the roll into 1,5-2 cm cookies. I put those cookies on the plate on the baking paper.

Takto pripravené osie hniezda som nechala ešte 10-15 minút nakysnúť a dala som piecť do vopred vyhriatej rúry (10-15 minút pri cca 175° C).
I let those prepared wasp nests for about 10-15 minutes to rise more and then I baked those in preheated over (10-15 minutes in about 175° C).

Tip: Po vybratí som každý koláčik potrela vodou zmiešanou s cukrom.
Tip: I brushed each cookie with water mixed with sugar after removing from the oven.
